Yesterday while driving with the headlights on, the right blinker light turned on and stayed on, also the battery and tach gauge stopped working. It's fine when the headlights are off, and no lights were burnt out.
I did just change my cluster out for one with a tach. What would cause it to do that? |

Had that same problem last time I did a cluster swap in a Chebbie. In that case the problem was caused by the plastic clip on the plug going into the culster being broken. It caused the ground pin on the end of the plug to lose contact.
Wierd thing was it was shorting to the dash light pin or something, because when you turned the dash lights down it went away. |

It did it after I turned on the right blinker...my turn signal/hi beam switch is bad and needs to be replaced. So, I usually manually make the blinkers blink...did I mess up the cluster? _________________
