What gives, tried to different relays, and my fuelpump is priming every couple minutes with the car off!? WTF?

Checked connections, nothing seems to be shorting.... computer isn't switched on.... um?

Well It has to be getting power from somewhere, IIRC it just grounds out a side in order to provide power flow through the FP right? if so it must be from the relay to the pump where it's grounding out. Sometimes I hate electronics!

The ECU supplies 12v to switch the relay on.

Remember that theres a parallel circuit through the fuel pump switch as well. If its shorting it could be turning the pump on.

What fuel pump switch? It's all rewired with the commander. It's power from battery, ground...... for the pump itself, then there is a 12v power from the ecu and then a ground.

There is one wire that goes to the ALDL also. Thinking of hacking thatone off.

Weird thing is, all but the battery I believe had continuity to ground?!~ weird shizzle. EFI forum said get a bosch relay, others can do funky things with aftermarket components.

Do you have the newer style 3-wire oil pressure sensor? It 's a backup switch for the fuel pump circuit. If oil is above 4 psi it'll turn on. Could be stuck or bad.

Something is turning the commander 950 on and off because the commander relay operates when the fuel relay does.... pulled the ecu out can't see any shorts.... works while key is on so I guess i'm not too worried about it till i can find a pattern.

Nope, something is still clicking the commander on. Not sure how or what, no wires are crossed or anything. Each time I get the tools out to watch the switch line, it wont do it *of course*

Did you try saying 'Do It, Do It'? That may help.

Here's my suggestion: I've noticed that cursing under my breath seems to help with little problems. Seems that yelling loudly at the problem area works best for big problems. Just my experience though. Shrug

Of course you could do an ancient "healing dance" next to the car for the ultimate in results, but we need you to be sure to videotape it and post it for all to see. Wink
