Ok, today I have begun doing my homework on making my bulkhead connector (C100) compatible with my new TPI motor. So far I have found out the following:

I need to add to cavity A7 "Cold Start and Emission Controls" - What do I need to hook that to on the Chassis side?

Change cavity E6 from "Choke Heater" to "Fuel Control" - I imagine this goes to my fuel pump?

And add to cavity G4 "Fuel Control" - What is different between this one and the one at E6?

Other than that the pinouts look identical. Should be easier to set this thing up than I thought.

To be a bit more descriptive I'm installing a TPI'd 305 from a 1988 Firebird into a 1983 Firebird S/E that is currently 305 Carb'd.

If anyone wants to look at it I made a nice excel spreadsheet with the pinouts, wire colors (on both the socket and pin sides) and a sheet with the cavity and signals from each year side by side for easy comparison.

Might not be a huge upgrade or even worth the work in some peoples opinion but I've never done something like this before and it looks pretty sweet with the polished injection and stuff.

After doing some thinking. I'm thinking the first "Fuel Control" is power from the fuse block and the Second is to the ECM from the Fuse or the other way around?

If that is true, then is the circuitry all located within the engine harness itself and never passes through the bulkhead (firewall)?

They are screenshots from the FSM. I think I have figured out what I need to do. I read through chevythunder.com several times last night and figured out what modifications it is going to take. Mostly on connector C207, and wiring in and fusing power for the injectors, cooling fan, and cold start circuitry. Hopefully when I get back home in a few weeks I can get the car apart, put in the new fuel tank, lines, suspension, engine and get it wired up and fired up.
