So I did my taxes yesterday and I told my wife how much money we were getting back. I asked her what she wanted to do with some of that money. I was expecting her to say curtains, new bed spread, furniture, maybe even something as elaborate as a vacation. You want to know what she really said????
"If you want that supercharger thingy for your car then go ahead."
Yeah, that's right, she was talking about the Vortec blow through kit for Chevy big block. My wife is so cool!!! Unfortunately, I had no intention of spending that much money. But I might actually get new carpet and and headliner and put the interior back together. |

There might be a little bit of something like that going on. My wife told me many years ago that when she turns 35 she wants a convertible or some type of sporty car. She turns 35 next month. I don't know how serious she is about the idea, but I do know that there is no way we are buying another car. Especially when there is a beautiful hot rod sitting in the garage.
I'll wait for her to say something. If she turns the switch on then I'll probably get the car done this summer. She's got to come to the idea herself or I won't feel comfortable using our finances in that way. |

As a single guy, I'll admit I lack skill when it comes to this "wife" thing. However I have had enough experience with women to venture the guess that you're dead wrong about all this.
Oh, she wants you to finish it alright, just not so she can drive it around. She wants you to finish it up so it can be sold and she can buy this instead:

| I'll give you an "A" on that test. You would have gotten an "A+" if it was a picture of a new Volkswagen Beetle. |

And to think some kids called my camaro a "fag-mobile" today...looks like I need to get my firebird running asap to prevent any further name calling
I kid...I love my camaro just as much as my firebird. |
