Does that thing need paint John? I can't really make a recommendation. Had a few repairs to various rigs the last few years but no where I would trust your 2nd gen to.

I always thought paint jobs were way over priced until I watched all the labor that goes into it and the cost of materials. Still sucks though. How many places have you got quotes from?
It's a tough one, if you are going to spend the money you want it done right. Would hate to see that 2nd gen screwed up.

I had a similar quote for my 89. $6,000 to $8,000 which includes sanding to bare metal, removing all panels and GFX prior to paint, replace all weather seals after paint and reassemble, all with a lifetime warranty. One downside is the car would be in the shop 6-8 months. _________________ 92 Camaro

he said it might take about 45 days if no major problems, i havent taken the car for a real estimate yet, just spent about an hour on the phone, about 10 years ago, another quote from a place was starting at 6500 |
