Ever since swapping the 5speed into my car, I get this code 24 "vehicle speed sensor error".
It seems to turn on when the engine idles fast, like when its cold, or even if I throttle it up and hold to 2K RPM warm, although the light will turn off once I start driving.
I was wondering if anyone else has run into this? The speedo works, it's a little off because the speed sensor is from a junkyard V6 car that had 3.42 gears, while I have 3.73's. _________________

Do you have any way to datalog to see what speed the ECM is actually seeing?
Either way you need to regear for the new axle. The ECM (at least in a TPI car) relies pretty heavily on the VSS. |

| I have checked with my moates stuff before, I remember that the vehicle speed was the same as indicated on the gauge. |
