New problems have arisen since my fiddling with the ignition switch, P/N switch, starter relay, and VATS.
When I shift to drive, from park. it works fine. but after a short drive to refill my tires, the tranny doesn't want to shift into park.
is this something I caused? |

good guesses but it looks like the connector running between the P/N switch and the Shift lever is out of place. Does anyone have a picture of the P/N switch in the proper position?
How do I remove the center console so I can get to the P/N switch, just taking the cover off gives me clearance issues between the P/N switch screws and the inside wall of the center console. |

OPm me your email and I will take some pics of the switch.
The bolts for the console are inside the box on the bottom 10 mm . there is also one that bolts to the floor 10 mm under the a shift plate. Only was to get cleerance is to remove console. aslo there is two 7 mm bolts on the dash center. something there there some times there not. _________________ kurfbird

| Alright, I was making a big deal out of nothing (as usual) I was able to loosen the P/N switch and using a flathead, push the actuator between the switch and shifter back into it's fitting. took 5 minutes, no big deal. |
