Now that mary the maro is running again, i'd like to make her look better for cheap as possible, meaning no paint job Embarassed First thing is to fix all of the chipped paint on the front of the car but id hate to get the wrong color

I wanted to know what you guys thought of the Idea of matching the valve covers to the car color with some sort of wording on them.

Is it a good idea? how would I go about doing it? What are some other cheap inprovements I could make, either underhood or exterior? cheap dent removal? how do I get good body panel alignment spot on? Can a shaker can job ever look good?

Rattle can it bright red, then paint the hood black and... wait, that's not right.

Razz

My personal opinion: Don't mess with any underhood dressup on any car that isn't going to see shows.

Rattle can it the original color (don't color change unless you're doing the jambs, and engine bay, or it looks tacky). Put the rest of the cash into the motor (if you're a punk like me), or the interior (if you have a nice girlfriend).
