So, is it too soon to start thinking about next years festivities?
I'd like to be able to flex the birds wings when it gets out of the body shop. When and where might it be and hopefully it won't be raining again?
EDIT; poll added... _________________

What? It's only four months away.
*Edit: BTW, with my clever powers of weather prophecy, I am going to predict that it will be... cold & rainy. |

I have every reason to espect dyno to be the first week of Feb. or the last week of Jan as normal. I haven't spoken with Steve yet. I should give him a call here soon. _________________

I think I may bring the six again. It hasn't been on those rollers since I had the two leaky injectors and barely broke 100hp. Barring any other problems, I'd like to see what the difference is _________________ 92 Camaro

| It'll be interesting to see what my engine will do with a TPI compared to what it did when Ian had it with the Stealth Ram. Did you have headers on it Ian? Did you have a functioning cat? |

The first time around without headers was I think 226hp? Whatever it was, it was 1hp more than Dewey's; that's all I remember. With headers was 24xhp? I've got it on a dyno graph somewhere around here. Cat was on for the first dyno. |

If it makes anywhere near 240hp I will be very happy! |

Nice.
Have you considered swapping your TBI onto the 406? But maybe going with an aftermarket intake manifold, and a 350 or 454 truck throttle body.
That would give you a lot more tuning options than the 4-barrel/HEI boogie that everyone does. |

How's that more options? Sounds like more of a learning curve and spendying money than maybe swapping a few jets around... _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

What's done to the 406? Cam specs?
Sounds like fun! Haven't seen a 400 in action in a long time!
I'd go straight for an Air Gap intake myself. Stick gets the double pumper Holley 650, and auto gets the vacuum Holley 650! _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |
