Most know my car is out of the shop finally and I have to come to decision on the fender hash marks. I've seen a couple imports rolling around here with them on so I've been leary about putting them back on. I think they look cool in some lights, and hideous in others. Help push me over the edge one way or the other. _________________

He quoted it in the other topic too.
I just had to vote for it, though.
Anyway.... I'll stick with what I said the last time you asked this. I didn't like them at first, but they've grown on me, and are the most unique thing about that car. I say keep 'em. |

I didn't know there would be such a resounding yes! I guess I'm convinced!

I would guess that if you asked the imports what them stripes are from/mean... they wouldnt know.
Where they halfway fit your car since its got alot of vette parts, gm, etc. _________________ 2008 GMC Z71

Hell, half of the fourthgens I see probably wouldn't be able to tell me what they were from. Originally, anyways.
See? They're a hit or miss on my radar. |

Also reminds the last time I had a girlfriend that I could stand more than a few days.
Although it's nice to know that there are just as many people that like the stripes as there are that like to eat wax... Yay for the crew! |

Lot of candle eaters around here!
I like the stripes on your car, but you're gonna be pissed when I put em on my car too! _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

Well I don't care for the stripes, but I see theres a history and some sentimental value there. As such it just wouldn't be right not to keep them, so keep them stripes. _________________ Killing mailboxes since 2009 |

My buddy used to rock those GS stripes on his old GTP. Looks killer. I say keep'em for sure.
