haha i think thats my last resort, a friend told me about a place in port orchard that does chrome plating, ill check em out tomorrow, if that doesnt work out...ill resort to rattle can
black would look really cool in the headlight, but wouldnt be nearly as bright lol _________________

| True, although it seems like a hell of a hassle that could be prevented with a bit of prep time sanding/priming and shooting with a rattle can? |

yeah thats true, you think i can get it to match the chrome plating on all the other headlight housings? thats kinda why i wanted to have it replated cause im not sure if it will match _________________

ok so the place in port orchard only chrome plates metal, so there is another place that does it, but it sounds expensive.
can chrome paint handle high heat? it gets pretty dang hot in the headlights (reason why they melted before ) _________________

ok so i solved the problem, the plating place wanted over $100 and i said F that so they make similar lights to the ones i have now, they just dont have halos in them....so my plan is to buy a set of new lights for $30 and just bake em open and stick the halos in there and im good to go _________________

kind of a moot point now, but I don't know how well Vaccuum plating (plastic chroming) holds up around heat. _________________
