Ok here we go,
so when I start my car in the morning I let it warm up for at least 15 minutes but when I back out of my driveway and put in D i go to leave and my car will hesitate and drop rpm and then it will go, also when I'm at freeway speeds my car feels like I'm tapping the breaks? kind of like a jerking feeling. The rpms don't drop nor does my speed but it just kind of jerks almost feels like a governor kicking on?... this has been going on for a while.
haha ok one more thing after like 2500 rpm the thing pulls decent its just when it gets in the lower rpm it runs like my description.
could it be timing issue?
Thanks guys in advance... tryed explaining the best i could.

| The jerking sounds like a tuneup issue.. plugs, cap or usually plug wires. |

What this genius said.
I had that issue a couple times and it was usually plugs wires grounding on something or a bad cap/rotor combo. Would seemingly idle fine unless you REALLY listened but under load it would shudder/buck. WOT was always slow because it was a 305. Start simple, check plug gap/wires/cap/rotor and go from there! _________________

| Changed the timing recently? I agree that it sounds like bad spark, but it could also be not enough initial timing. |

Sounds similar to an EGR problem I had, is there a check engine light?
I agree with everyone else to check plugs & tune up stuff. _________________

ok so after driving my car for this week you guys think it may be my TPS?
because its kind of running like when my temp sensor went out?
because now it will barely start, and it runs rough as hell...
my plug wires are only a couple months old... _________________ Phil.

UPDATE!:
well tonight i climbed under my car and checked all my connections on my wires to my starter solenoid and i dropped my wrench and it grounded out on it, so i figured i still had power to it so i charged the battery for like 20 minutes. Then i went out and tried starting it again and nothing! so i turned it off and on repeatedly and finally it starting turning over lol? so now its running fine and starts every time
so after all of that my question is what could of caused that? _________________ Phil.

The switch up on top of the column might be going on the blink.
Grounding the hot post on the starter to the chassis and getting spark proves that you have 12V at the hot post, not 12V on crank at the solenoid trigger, which is what I was asking about in your other thread.
If you knew that, you could differentiate between a bad switch, and a bad solenoid. |

The rod for the high/low switch runs somewhat parallel to the ignition switch rod in the column. Might be a binding or alignment issue. Is your column original to the car?
The buzzer comes on when the door is open and the key is in. It's also tied to the seatbelt. |

If it happens again, work your way up the line checking for hot. i.e. if the wire is cold at the solenoid, check the p/n switch, if that's cold, check the column switch.
If you just start replacing parts on an old Chevy to fix a problem, you're gonna be there awhile. |
