ok so when i go to start my car there is a real loud click and then the car starts, i was told my solenoid is going bad, should i just get a new solenoid or a whole new starter (do new starters come with solenoids?)

Most of the time a new starter is as cheap as just getting a solenoid. I'd buy a starter.

Less work too. You have to remove the starter anyway to take the solenoid off.

I totally agree with B. My starter dive would occasionally spin out and not catch, so I figured the started itself was as worn as the drive was. I replaced it with a new one and WOW! The engine spun over at least twice as fast as before. I didn't realize my old starter was so slow. Sure opened my eyes on this one.
