so other day car overheated for some reason...and steam started coming out from under hood..year ago i put in a hole new cooling system...aluminum griffin radiator aftermarket fan switch hi flow water pump...etc...well i got home from work today car was deff not overheating was in normal temp range maybe even a lil cold...but steam was coming out again pop the hood and coolant everywhere at front of motor...so im thinking that new water pump might have gone out...i started car back up but didnt see any water coming from water pump...getting off here now to go scewzzzzz car into garage and see if i can figure out whats wrong...i was on a date when it overheated and steamed first time other day...that was embarrassing...but i just shrug shoulders and said im not worried about it...lol...really i wasnt to concerned about it at the time...figured maybe fan shorted out or something but its working...well off to garage to see what happen

ok this is what happen...those stock flimsy bottom mounts for the fan...well i think i ganna cut them off and mount fan some other way...somehow the fan moved forward maybe when i hit a bump or something...and put a small hole in radiator...right now only thing i can think off to patch hole is to get some epoxy...shouldnt be to hard of a fix...just was not expecting that...fan is mounted and secured pretty good too...

Not sure where you are located, but you should be able to find a radiator shop that will do the repairs. The one I found in Vancouver specialized in 18 wheeler radiators. They fabricated a copper radiator for me for a good price compared to the stuff on jegs and summit. I would think they would be able to patch/fix the hole for you.

He's almost next door to me. There is a radiator shop here in Bremerton by the Fred Meyer store on Hwy 303. I got radiator with brass tanks, not plastic, for my 92 at his store. Arctic Radiator is the place.

im pretty sure i can patch it with some epoxy..its a real small hole...going to talk to my uncle as well hes a welder...and i might be able to convince him to tig weld it for me...im not upset about it anymore...im going to use this opportunity to pull all the a/c stuff off the car...im just glad its not the water pump or anything else serious like a cracked block or blown head gaskets...al i will check out that place...if they dont charge to much i will have them do it...thx for the info

I've seen epoxy patches blow again down the road. Not the best idea IMHO.

Haha, I knew that coffee stand was there. Never been to it though. Last summer, the girls were doing a car wash there too.
