Got some center-lines and rubber off of Craigslist a day or so ago...
Next to move the linelock solenoid and switch from the 69 and then establish the baseline. _________________ "Are you guys ready? Let's roll."

Wanna Race?
Where do you mount your button for the linelock? _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

Race? Nah... This thing probably won't start out fast. I'd be surprised if I broke 100 until I get the rear end changed out and so forth.
I tried the dash on my 69 for a button location... but that was awkward and I couldn't shift out of first hanging on to the wheel and pushing that button on the dash... so I rigged a way to attach the button to the stock shifter.
I fabricated it up using a piece from an old computer case... then I ran the wires over my console.
So, I'll probably do the same thing for the 87 shifter, which has the "T" handle as opposed to the straight up and down with button in the top stock shifter.
I'll put some pictures up once I've got it all figured out, but I envision a thumb activated number on the d/s of the handle. _________________ "Are you guys ready? Let's roll."

If your still using the stock shifter selector... A handle from the 97-03 grand prixs have a button for "performance shift" in the side. The handle fits 100% perfect on the fbody selector _________________ 2008 GMC Z71
