| we are trying to decide whether to attend the party at Brandy's house. A little concerned that her husband isn't invited, concerned about how that may look. OR whether to attend the Rod Run To The End of The World. Some seriously sweet rides going past the house all day. OR whether to attend the smaller show in Newcastle and a run to the XXX rootbeer house of goodness. so many choices. |

Really i was working on my wife's car. then changing the hoses on my car, then had to accompany her on a shopping expedition, then mowed the lawn, then went out to do some target shooting 75 rounds through .38 and broke her shotgun picked up a job app for the wa. state DOT (they have some sweet jobs open right now), BBQ'd some steak and let her talk me into another dog because three dogs is the perfect number, two are just lonely. Had to decide which of the three things I listed above I wanted to do this weekend, really wanted to hit up the XXX rootbeer stand, but the afore mentioned shopping expedition pretty well took that option off the table.
But it was a nice day weather wise and it is supposed to hold for the weekend |

So that makes alot more yack for me, and i just now busted loose to see what is going on in the CC world.
Well time to find another assitant...good grief the things people try to hide and end up getting tapped later for!
What a week! _________________

Well yea on the hiring...not sure about the recession...according to some clients it's still ugly, and not to bad for others. What I will say is that
most everyone is holding steady, and that is a welcome change!
My UPS rep was just in visiting, and told me his territory PDX area and east is down almost 20%, but what he mainly notices are businesses leaving the tax ridden Multnomah county and going over to WA or out to Clackamas, good move I say! _________________

I've been swamped all day at work. The Parts Manager quit last friday and the one other guy here quit this morning. Yikes. One man parts dept. This is the first time I've had to actually breath! _________________

| I work for a large Oyster company, they supply all the oysters nationwide for wal-mart and costco just to name two of the largest retailers, we just picked up customers in canada and Japan. We have been busy all summer long and this fall, our busy season they are expecting 65+ hours per week minimum and for some folks up to 80 hours. Oysters are kind of a luxury food if sales are up and new orders are coming in for a luxury item then I feel pretty good. |

Hey Flea that is great news!
For me in the uni biz, the chef wear and hospitality gear was stronger then we anticipated, and that is all for hotels, better food establishments,
so the dollar was decent for us there as well.
So Biz is good for some! _________________
