my dad was telling me fords fuel filters are direction well my moms x boyfriend changed my fuel filter and let just say he isn't the best person to work on my car (tweeker) are Camaros fuel filters directional if they are directional would it give me a lose of fuel pressure

It could.

Get under there and look for the arrow.
Do you have a gauge on there to verify you're losing pressure?

i just put on it a few months ago and im pretty sure it had an arrow on it, and the arrow points towards the motor.

i had my car in the shop and them told me im pushing 25 pounds of pressure and its supposed to be 44 to 45

Is your RS a TPI car or TBI?


If it's TBI you should be around 12psi and there is no pressure port.

If it's TPI you should be around 40-43 engine running vacuum off regulator. There is a pressure port.

my car is a v6 multi port injection and that's just what the guy told me at the shop

I'd throw another one on it just to be sure. Even if it isn't backwards, it could still just be clogged.

25 pSI is way to low. Put another filter on there just to be sure. But could be your pump is on its way out
