I need to schedule a weekend with someone to help with the rear end rebuild for my 89. I have all the parts ready to go (except some shims and a new diff cover), even new speedo gears. What I don't have is some of the know how and some special tools Wink I'd be happy to make a road trip out of it as the trip home would take care of most of the break in period - also keeps it convenient Cool

I'm busy through labor day at this point. Not sure of beyond. Definatly willing to help as soon as we can arrange a time.

This weekend is too soon and Labor Day is too hard for travel. I almost forgot, I do have 4 days the following weekend, though.

I don't know what kind of special tools you need but I'll be on leave until the 9th and will be free most of that time. I could probably talk my dad into assembling the car lift this weekend and could use it at a later date. Question

How's your schedule look? I'm free from Sept 11-14, will any of those days work?

Leejo, thanks for the offer. Paul and Brandon had already offered from an earlier post and a date later than Labor Day works better for me.
