| i had a diagnostic ran on the car turned out my mass air flow sensor was out so i replaced it once i plugged it in my car would start but ran horrible and would fall on its face when i tried to drive it someone told me it was the erg value so i replace that and the car still runs horrible when the sensor is plugged in but when i unplug it the car will run and drive just falls on its face when i accelerate and jumps when im at ant 3000rpms any advise i really need some help with this car |

Did you disconnect the battery to reset the ECU when you replaced the MAF? It is my understanding you gotta do that, and then drive the car around for the computer to do its thing. Might be an old wives tale, though. Seemed to have worked for me in the past. _________________ 1991 Camaro RS - 454 BBC |

| yeah i reset the computer a couple times nothing happened the car got worse |

check your fuel pressure.
check your timing.
start unplugging things one at a time, then start the car after each one until it gets better. this will allow you to isolate the problem if it is sensor related. |

Just a wild guess here, but could a plugged up cat cause some of those symptoms?
Pull out the O2 sensor down by the cat and see if the car runs better without it. The hole it was in should give exhaust someplace to go if the cat is plugged.

| Put the old MAF back in it. See if the problem changes, or goes away. |
