Looks like they'll be keeping the pontiac G8 afterall. Lutz says it will be rebadged as a Chevy Caprice. Which in my mind isnt a bad fit for name and style of car. In the 60s a caprice was an upscale version of the impala.

Notice too, that the government people had no idea gm built a car like the CTS V until they were in the bankruptcy tour. Says to me GM needed to do some advertising and imagine enhancement.

Thats good new. I wounder what they plan to name the rebadged G8? Maliby for the 6 cylinder and Chevelle for the 8? Impalla?

Styling wise, I always liked the Vauxhall styling. Although, I would like the HSV treatment with the hood and such, on a VXR.
