Well after a 4 month hiatus on doing any work at all on the sled I am hoping to make some more tuning progress.

I just got a pretty blue Jacobs coil (fans of blue celebrate), new teflon valve seals (don't ask), and a new WOT switch for the N2O system. I just got back from having bungholio welded into my exhaust so I can use the new wide-band O2 sensor.

Assuming that Paully is still up for it, I hope to make some real progress toward optimizing the tune.

I also asked B if he wanted to come and hang out this weekend - he is undecided yet. If people are interested I might be up for a Bar-B-Que at casa de Schultzy Saturday evening.

Cheers!

I'll be there. I talked to pauly last night, he is still planning on some tunning, then a tune-up, then more tuning. We both have figured we will need to up your fuel pressure, then re-tune it.

Need me to bring some beer?

Beer is always welcome. You planning on hanging out Saturday or are you helping with a blower install?

No worries - the family has taken to putting blankets on cause daddy likes it cool. The basement is downright cold and refreshing.

Cheers!

Just a heads up since you mentione4d Jacobs and their ignition parts.

My best friend works for Mr. Gasket who owns both Mallory and Jacobs now. Currently he's working in test and debug for the ingnition boxes. Seems that there is a design flaw in the Jacobs boxes that is being redesigned right now. He's going to let me know when the new design is out.

he only has the coil, not the ingnition box. Mike is running a 6AL.

The jacobs boxes have always sucked. That's why no one runs them, because someone ran one on the dyno and lost some 35horse over STOCK HEI........... Hmm

But yes they do make a good coil, thus, 3 of us have one.

Just to keep everyone in suspense. I am buying a new blue part too. Will post up more details in the next couple of weeks.
