Well, for some reason I felt like gettin off my lazy arse tonight.. Went out to the barn and did this...

Something missin under that there truck?? Shocked Unbolted the cross member and removed the whole front end. The truck is a donor for my 70swb project. So far its donated a 454/th400, and now its donating a 1/2 ton disc front end, next is the 5 lug rear. Truck was still in decent shape though so I'm taking the front and rear out of a 3/4ton my brother left me. Then I'll take a 350/th400 out of yet another 3/4 ton.

Hopefully when i'm all through, i'll have 3 trucks to send to the scrapper. 1 driveable gmc 3/4 ton work truck, and one 67-72 swb BB project. I say 67-72 cause its a 70 gmc.. yet I just picked up a 67 small back window cab to put on it. And who knows what year everything else will be.

Damn... I like how you consider yourself lazy.

Keep up the good work.

Well lets see.. the GMC your lookin at there has 364,000 miles on it.. mostly at 35mph.. hated gettin stuck behind that old guy. My 70 has 490,000, and has been totalled twice, once taking a cop car with it. The crewcab that i'm stealin the motor/trans out of to put in the gmc has over 400k(but not on the the crate 350 Wink ) No idea how many miles were on the 70 gmc.. when I got it there was no rear end, or engine. And the ass's had actually set the backend down in the mud. Ruining 2 $300 stepside fenders that up till then werent dented. The 3/4 ton suspension donor spent its life towing around a gillnet boat. My brother drove it for 2 years with a cracked block. Motor still ran decent but the block was cracked from end to end inside the lifter valley. No liquid water seemed to come through it, because the oil never went milky, but we had to put a "road draft tube" on it cause of all the steam that would pour out of the valve covers. Only reason he quit driving that truck is reverse finally disappeared.

So when you do any of the above with the ford let me know! Razz
