And you end up with an overheating truck at midnight, and have to pull the stat out in the dark so you can make it to work at 7:30 the next morning. Rolling Eyes

Don't remember his #. Was a craigslist deal. Bought an Edelbrock intake, Holley carb, and T5 for like $380.

My rule is: NEVER take anything for granted unless you know who you are buying from period!! Been burned way too many times like that.

Funny, when I sold mike my T5 I was so worried about it. It worked fine for me, but you never know how it will work in a different car, different clutch, ect.

It worked great and if there is a person I would trust to have full disclosure on parts it would be you Dan. I agree though, parts is parts and anything can happen.

for sure. I felt like an a-hole for selling derek a "whining" rear. Evidently some kind of whine is a normal thing?
