Alright, just ordered new strut mounts. So that is a new mod for me... but after that is what I'm questioning...

A.Install the 4l60e. My t5 wont hold fluid, tired of shifting, and my cruise control wont work right. I already have the pcm, and most of the smaller parts needed to do this. I need a tq converter, flexplate, transhump, transpan..... I am not 100% the tranny is good, its from a 2000 4.3 s10 blazer

B. Redo exhaust. I had it done when headers were installed. I do not like how it is done.

So what should I do next, then either one I have questions.

Shocked WTF is that, man? How can you get "tired" of shifting? We need a tapout smiley or something. Laughing

Either way I would do your trans first though. Crappy exhaust isn't going to keep you from driving/enjoying your car, but a dry T-5 sure will.

As far as I knew the 4.3 4l60e's aren't as strong as the 5.7's. You'll also need to get a torque arm relocation deal if you don't have a 4l60e tailshaft with torque arm mounts. Not sure if the 700r4 will work since all the 4l60e's have the reluctor wheel on the output shaft. I have two 4l60e's in my backyard if you need a different pic.

I voted exhaust since you have a welder and the work is free.

Travis, your forgetting I have already changed my tq arm to a stand alone unit.

I am guessing the 4l60e will need to be rebuilt soon anyway, so I can have it upgraded then.

aaron, yes I am tired of shifting. The car is only drove around town. Since the trans if fried, it is hard to shift, miss shift, etc. I stick fluid in it... its drained back out in about 10 days.
