Dear Lama, or is it llama? I get so confused.

It seems that summer has arrived in southwest Washington and with it have come the seagulls. And I mean to tell ya they are here in force and they are incontinent. So I guess you can tell already that I am tired of my car getting crapped on, so what I'd like to know is, is there a way to make them pesky crappin' birds leave my car alone??
I have seen products like these on the market

http://www.electronicpestrepeller.com/
http://www.havahart.com/store/animal-repellents
http://www.urineoff.com/
http://world.guns.ru/machine/m60e4.jpg

But none say they are particularly effective at controlling the carpet bombing birds. I have thought about just feeding them cheese and getting 'em all bound up Twisted Evil But can you imagine the bricks that would falling from the sky then??

So perhaps the answer is to wait till Wednesday when the weather man says summer will be over? There must be a solution better than ridin' dirty all summer.

Dear Frustraded with fecal,

It is Lama, with a single "L", very much like the Dalie-Lama in Tibet. I am instead the Dewey-Lama, in Fairview, OR.

The solution to your bird poo troubles, are simpler than you think. As much fun as machine gun and contraptions are. I will instead suggest that you man up, stop your wining, and deal with the problem without killing all of your neighbors children in the process.

I offer you two sure fire solutions.

Keeping it clean,
The Lama
