So as you know, I have a '74 pump with an '86 box. The '86 high pressure hose left with the V6 so I tried to put the '74 hose to the '86 box. Unfortunately the box side of the hose is different. I don't have a '86 high pressure hose laying around so I'll have to buy one. Does anyone know if the pump side is the same for the various years?

(Good news, I have the rear fluid changed and driveline in. It's down to exhaust directing and wiring up a few things after the PS is done.)

I would just find out what size the fitting is on the 86 box, and take the pressure hose into a hydrolic shop and have them braze the correct fitting onto your hose. Might be cheaper than buying a new hose.

+1 on this. Shouldn't be more than 10-15 bucks to have it refitted and flanged, assuming the length is correct.

Didn't know they could do that. The 86 box has what looks like a cup on the end. So they would braze on a new rigid part of the hose like a ferrel and leave the rubber alone?
