| It is a truck-arm setup, they run a similar style in Nascar. It has some advantages, like everything else, it has some disavantages. |

how odd...
I was just reading about the options for eliminiating the Torque arm on TGO, and this type was mentioned. Nice to be able to see what they're talking about. _________________

If you have control arms strong enough and mount them in two places at the rear you can eliminate the torque arm. Still need a panhard. Not worth the work. Ever. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

| I saw a kit for the double mounted lca a while ago and may have posted it here somewhere. It didn't seem like the best design since the arm would be super short and cause pinion angles to be weird. |

I remember a thread awhile ago that showed a kit to get rid of the panhard bar. An OLD kit from someone that replaced the lower control arms and Y'd out. Kind of like 4 wheel drive lift kits that do the longarm conversion. One pivot on the body side and two mounts on the axle using the same LCA. The thread I remember had the guy showing pictures of the LCA cracking in half because it rusted out from a crack or something in the powdercoat/paint. This was awhile ago though. _________________
