Okay just got a 1991 Camaro Rs or I will in a few weeks as soon as the owener get the title from the state. Have not owned a camaro as a driver since 1986. It was a 1976 Camro LT. I loved that car.
Okay so here is the question. I want to convert the air cleaner to the type that goes in the middle bumper area. It now has the single air filter on the passenger side. Other models have the MAf to make up the space.
A 91 has MAP so there is a space betwen the air filter housing and the intake. Hopefully some one can help me out with this. I guess i can use a MAF and gut it.
SO some help would be appricated. _________________ kurfbird

I used a piece of tubing from Auto Zone in the tuner section and epoxied one end to the snorkel. The other end fit nicely inside the accordion tube to the throttle body. Then I had to extend the wires to the IAT sensor to the existing bung on the driver side of the snorkel. Probably get away cheaper by going to Home Depot and getting a piece of PVC pipe in the plumbing section.
