You can. I'd try to get one from the later 4thgens to get the low fluid switch built into the resevoir.
Actually, I think I have a couple thirdgen ones laying around. Or you could always try rebuilding yours. |

Bolts right up to the booster. Only issue I had was thread depth for the flare fitting. I used a set of adapter lines from NAPA when I installed my adjustable prop valve, and their fitting that is the size for the rear didn't have enough threads on it to seal the flare, I took the stock fitting off my old line and flares it onto the NAPA line.
I've still got my stocker lying around in the garage. _________________ 92 Camaro

He's converted to a disc rear.
I got my master from NAPA and it came with the reservoir. I tried used and got one that leaked badly so I sucked it up and bought a new one and don't regret it. 2002 Camaro SS. |

Mid-late Thirdgen fittings are metric bubble flare.
I recommend new master cylinders always. Those crazy ... uh.... rebuilders.... don't seem to be able to read the blueprints. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

| You most definetly do have to use different piping. What I did was used the rear piping of the 3rd gen and the front piping from the 4th gen. That way I only had to put new nuts on the proportioning valve and front tee. |
