Interesting to say the least. I think it's cool. Hard to not see all the work involved. I wouldn't do it, but 1k hp IS 1k hp!

I don't get it. Other than the weight savings, why bother. it only made 560hp on pump gas, that is plenty doable with a small block. Shoot, LS, and a turbo, and the 2JZ equiped car wouldn't even have a chance.

Weight savings? I think the 2JZ weighs more than an aluminum LSx. Laughing Isn't it all iron?

LS1 is about 200 lbs. lighter than a 2JZ.

Somebody did it to be different. Turns out they were both different and slower.

That it is, I can certainly appreciate the effort and skill. I just don't get the point of using that motor.
