Hello Crew, well the Shark has undergone some mod surgery and is about done. I have the headers on and the valve covers, and i have to
say the Lama is correct, there is a ton of CRAP under that hood!
I went with the Edelbrock ceramic coated headers, and the ELITE SERIES ALUMINUM VALVE COVERS - EnduraShine, thinking wow that will look
great, yea on the drivers side, and all 8" or so on the passeger side, but the Lama and Paul are going to assist me in making the under the hood
a much cleaner look!
Anyhow should have everything complete monday! can't wait!
Ler
Rich

Shiney Cool

Those are pretty much the same headers I have on the 89, except I had them coated satin black. Hope you had fin putting them in Razz You're right, there is alot of stuff under there, especially on the passenger side. I had to remove the starter in order to install the passenger side header, then found out that the last bolt hole behind #8 wasn't bottom tapped, so I had to shorten the bolt a hair so it would seat the flange.

Hey BAH (big ass hood) thanks!
I'm definately going to get rid of some yack under that hood!
Got to have the bling Bling'n!

This is like some kind of addiction! Next is the carb & manifold, although the paint may take the poll position,
I might just go this season with what i have done, and roll on the carb & manifold next season.

Plus i have the wife's thumbs up on paint it was her idea!, along with the interior and tunes! Cool
So you KNOW when that happens, you don't contemplate, you just get it done! Wink

I thought so at first too, but the early 80's Camry's didn't have the rear wing-windows.

Alright i cropped the pic, hopefully this will help solve the mystery car,
what i can tell you is that Tacoma had a monster amout of Audi's running around in the mid 70's through the late 80's. Volvo's 240 & 242 were very prevelant
The military families loved them! Tacoma had lots of families coming back form Germany & Italy during that time frame.

Back in the mid 70's My dad would take me to the base to look for a car and there was a wall on the PX that was pasted with 3x5 cards with pics...it was a like a Disneyland of cars, lots of V8 performance,
Chevelles, Z28 1960 & above, Road Runners, Demons, & Dusters, Dodge had a strong hold on Tacoma.
Anyhow it was a mixing bowl of...USA V8 Machines Twisted Evil
I'll find some pics!

GOOD LUCK Very Happy
Shark'n
