Alright, so I got back to my apartment. When I tried to turn the key to off, it wouldn't budge, I wasn't able to turn to the off position. I did manage to get the car off by pulling the power cable running to my rewired fuel pump, but it drained the battery. I realized later i coulda just disconnected the battery.
So I guess my question is, what would cause that to happen? The security light didn't come on, and the key still is able to start the car |

My guess would be the ignition lock cylinder. You would need to pull the steering wheel to replace it _________________ 92 Camaro

| you can do it in the car but you will need to buy or make a puller to remove the spring and plate that hold everything in place. Do not try to remove the spring by hand you will fail measurably and will just end up with some sore fingers. But like Al said its most likely the key ignition cylinder. Only like 15-20 bucks if you do it yourself. |
