for the 92. I've been rid of the chrome wheels for the V6 for a couple of months now (they were peeling quite badly), and using the 89's stock wheels that I painted black. It was nice though to be able to get around in the snow we had with the skinny tires. I should get the new ones a week from tomorrow - MB Vintage, 17X8, 0mm offset, polished wheels.

Those should look really good. I like the dip dish look. _________________

| I think you will be really happy with the polished wheel. Plus it doesn't look as flashy, and still looks nice with lower maintenance. |

Nice Al. I like that style. I was heading toward wheels similar when I had a bug but ended up deciding to keep the gold crosslace. Had to make a decision before I decided on brakes .
Look forward to seeing those on the car

IMO, Those will look a million times better than the wheels you had. Maybe that's because I dislike chrome.
Either way, Nice! _________________

I like them because they are much simpler. I'm not a fan of busy wheels or wheels with the goofy rivets. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

I don't mind the rivets, I have them on the Z06 Motorsports on the 89, had them on the last set of chrome wheels I'm replacing with these. Trying to find a simple design (with correct bolt pattern & offset) was the hardest part of my shopping experience. Like my last set, these are also truck wheels |

I had an appointment to put them on tomorrow, but this morning my alarm didn't wake me up. By the time I woke up, I had missed my vanpool ride and the ferry. So I decided to have them put on this morning while the tire shop was not busy.
They look much better than the picture shows. Actually a two-tone effect with all the recessed areas in a satin finish and high spots are mirror polished.

I'll have to get a close up shot of the lip and spokes when the weather is better. My camera battery died as I was taking this one |

Those look pretty damn good. I must say, they are a thousand times better than the old ones, they just weren't my taste. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

I've got some close-ups of the spokes and lip now that the weather cleared up a little. I thought these had a clear coat on them (salesman told me so), but when applying some metal polish, my rag turned black when wiping them down - sounds like bare aluminum to me.
And a depth comparison
And another look at them on the car
