Kid at work is not tech savy. He's asked me to help him get his laptop to talk to his car. The guy that built the car for him tuned it but isn't local to help set this up.

I don't know squat. I guess it's having some kind of firmware issue. It almost seems like the ECU file isn't right except Megatune stuff is way different and complicated than Moates/Holley/Tunerpro make it.

.....

The online resources are like weeding through TGO.

what kind of car is it? i have a TON of tunes from my 240sx.

i have about 10 different tunes for a CA18DE-T

and i have about 50 different tunes for the SR20DE-T

and they're all off a mega squirt.

i didn't do all of the tunes or tuning on the car, my buddy wrynn at VIP performance made them all.

It's a '99 Neon with a Turbo 2.0L and lots of custom stuff. I don't know what those numbers you listed are.

His car is tuned fine, it's a matter of getting the "hires"? into Megatune so that the Laptop can talk to the ECM.
