OK that probably wasn't very helpful.

Power locks??
Try a coat hangar between the window and seal to hit the "unlock" button.

If it were mine tho, I'd just open the hatch, as its held shut by the weight of a gallon of water tied to it. Crying or Very sad

If for some reason you do this again. Take a something long and thin. .. on the pass side. Shove it down between the door skin and the window back by the lock. Just push down on the lock rod.

Okay, I'll make a confession. Just before Christmas I locked myself out of the Jeep at work. My wife had to come open it up for me. I haven't done that in at least 15 years!

I like the way my '94 Vette was set up. If the key fob jiggled it would send out a short range signal to the car. If you walked out of range then the car would lock. Once you walked back in range it would unlock again. This made it impossible to lock myself out. The one time I left my keys in the car all I had to do was rock the car and the doors unlocked. Now that doesn't count as locking myself out... I just left my keys in the car. Very Happy

Now the real problem I've had the last few months is the new locks on the house. I swapped out all our locks for better units and got the kind where you can open the door from the inside whether or not the door lock is set. After locking myself in the garage about 4 times, and my wife doing the same about 10 times, I finally just left a key in the door handle. Laughing

I haven't done it going outside yet. Just into the garage. But I did leave the front door ajar one day. When I opened the screen door (with glass in it for winter) it sucked the inside door closed. DOOOOHHHH!!!! Very Happy

My stepdad took the 'vette to up to Seattle the other day. Evidently he started it up, ran inside to grab something and went on his merry way.

After he got there, he went on his errands and came back to the car. Realized he left the fob on the counter at home. DirtySteve had to drive up there to give him a fob to start it up. Laughing

I was under the impression it would kill the car if he drove away without the fob but I guess not!

I too keep a spare in my wallet. Although one time I did lock myself out of my car with my keys in the ignition and my wallet sandwiched between the seat and center console. Duh

On the other hand, after a whole day of practicing, I can now break into my camaro in under 10 seconds with a coat hanger. it's scary how easy it is.

I was born in WA but went to HS in Sacramento CA. I have only done this on my car but it is common knowledge for theives, wich I happened to know a couple of in HS.

It is alot easier to do this on t-top cars. Pry the top of the window out from the lip of the weather seal with a screw driver / key / what ever you have. Then get your fingers rapped over the top of the window and gently pull towards you with one hand. Take the other hand and reach in and hit the unlock button. C4 corvettes are just as easy to break in to. I can mess up your window guides if you pull to far, but if you have to do it, it works. I have done it twice on my car.

I watched a tow truck driver break into Mom's Dodge Stratus. All he had to do was put an inflatable bag in between the door and b-pillar, inflated the bag and reached through with a long, heavy wire to hit the unlock button. $76 for about 10 seconds of work Shocked

This would be much easier on 3rd gen since the windows have no frames around them.
