Probably this much Very Happy

I used so much bondo, what makes me cringe though is I know it will crack after I give it a nice paint job. Yet those guys driving around in '68 coronets with entire panels full of bondo and spray paint over them will never crack. I guess it is just Car Karma.

Fender (Don't worry, I shaved the turn single with metal first)

The driver side door (I got railed really bad, and could barely salvage the body line)

Passenger side door (Actually just a few dings, what bondo was intended for)

This is only temporary (untill next summer), I am a 'go over show' kind of guy, so this is temporary for a quick paintjob so I still have money leftover for my engine.

Once I get my engine and tranny, I am gonna buy an entirely new front clip (d fender, p fender, and bumper fascia) and a new driver and passenger side door.

I hope to find a nice little trans am that got rear ended and strip it down.

But untill then... I will be sanding all this bondo down Very Happy

It's really not so much, how much area you cover, but how thick you cover it. If its over a large area but extremely thin, its not much different then applying thick primer. Just make sure you mix the filler consistently and with the right amount of hardener---too much and it'll crack, too little it cures too slow. Think you find when you get to sanding that, there wont be much filler left there anyway. I used gallons workin on different rigs, yet after sanding most of it was on the floor.

THanks for the link Farshin.

I got a nice straight body line... it is even sharper then the original. I was considering leavingit sharp, but I realized I would have to do it to the front fenders, and quarter panels.

After I dull down the edge I will take a picture.
