Ask "Hardcore" aka...Paul, how to do that. I wouldn't know, I stop working on anything if it even gets down to 40*. Wink But, Paul on the other hand is a change the transmission of the car, with 6" of snow on the ground, kind of guy.

I snapped a shot of my 89 a couple of hours ago.

A nice inch or two as it sits in the grass on the side of the street. It's pretty much quit for now, but more is expected.

Man, you people sure get excited over a little bit of snow! Laughing

Here in Illinois I'm just happy it finally got warm enough to melt the snow from 2 weeks ago.

I don't mind the snow. What bothers me is all the other drivers that think they can drive in it, or the ones that think 4 wheel drive makes them invincible Shocked Growing up in the Midwest (Michigan), I will say that the snow here is more slippery due to the fact that it heavy and slushy, unlike the light & fluffy stuff from home that packs when you drive over it. Don't get me wrong, both are tricky to drive in and each take a certain skill to get through in one piece.

It is 16* here in Ferndale and the grass is just barely poking through the snow. Problem is the wind is ripping the heat out of the house! It's a balmy 42* in the garage though so I'll be working on my car today Razz Laughing

We have a ruler out on the deck and the snow is now at 7 inches and it is still snowing hard here in port angeles. Had to drive home from a Christmas party and there were people all over the road it was like one big obstacle course trying to get around everyone to keep momentum on my side lol

If the mid west is worst than this, count me out. I had to take the tarps off my cosco tarp carport cause the wind had already ripped a 4x4 apart and was about to fly away like a kite. Then i looked at a weather station that posts online that is also up the road. 30mph averate with 40mph gusts and it's back to 20* again. Jeez, so 1.3* with wind chill. So not liking this.

IMHO snow isn't really the problem, it's the overall lack of DOT reaction. Have seen one sand truck in two days of snow, and he wasn't even dumping. Rolling Eyes

IROC turns out to be a fairly good snow car though. Acceleration is a bit of a trick, but it made it from Lacey to Tacompton in one piece.
