Don't know what you guys do with your spent grains but I just found a recipe for dog treats (that are actually pretty good). My dogs seem to love them and so do I, tastes like an unsweetened granola bar.

2 cups spent grain
2 cups flour
0.5 cup peanut butter
1 egg

Spread into an 11x17 baking tin so it's about 1/4 to 1/2" thick. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Dry over stove, in the sun, on your fireplace, or in the oven (250* until crisp). Will mold if not completely dry.

I've also been making bread with it.

1 cup milk
1/4 cup water
4 tsp butter
3 cups flour (I use whole wheat)
1 cup spent grain
4 tsp sugar
1-1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp yeast

Put in bread machine.

Guys, I'm turning into martha stewart. I need to find a job soon....

Laughing so hard it hurts

However, I may not be far behind you. I heard that the company we get contracted to the most will quit outsourcing ANY work after the 1st. Sad

I use my spent grains for fertilizing my roses.
