9" test drive tonight went off without a hitch. Well except the weather.
Will let her dry off and check all the fasteners and brake lines. Brakes seem to work great. No strange sounds or clunks.
Certainly makes the 1st gear off idle transition much much nicer! No more slipping the clutch for 20mph!
I do need to make an adjustable panhard, or lengthen the one I've got. Off by about 1/2". Only problem is that I don't know if the torque are will clear the seatbelt/fuel line bracket if I move it over. |

Sweet! Way to go bud. Ya it was raining as I came home from Dad's in Vancouver. I was wondering how that went for your test drive lol
Glad to hear everything is going smooth.

You really don't have a winning timeslip. I didn't trip the beams, the guys pushing me off the line did!
And I'll have you know on that other rear, the weld held, it ripped out of the housing and took pieces of the housing with it. Metal failure. Not me. A$$. |

What axle was it?
Hey, and what brake setup did you end up running? |
The bracket for the 3rd link on the Chevette ripped a chunk out of the housing.
Running the brakes from the pictures a month ago. Front C4 12" Brakes. |
