i did...saw some sick cars.
i fell in love with the GTR! so sick.
TOTALLY DISSAPOINTED IN THE CAMARO! i was kinda excited to see this one and it seemed like they only brought the base line model with crappy junkyard looking wheels on it...not impressed.
the challenger on the other hand. very sexy looking. i drove one the other day. on the V6 so i dont think it really counts lol _________________ gas brake dip dip |

I went Thursday night. Was a bit dissapointing. I have no idea why they brought a base camaro... it had black steel wheels for goodness sake! GTR was pretty cool. I liked the 370Z straight from the factory better than the tuner versions that were there. Caddy CTS-V was sex. but... I had a several moments of contemplative silence with the italian girls upstairs.
The black Gallardo spyder.... well,
The car show in general seemed pretty pedestrian this year. I am sure it is due to the industry hurting so bad but they didn't have to skimp on the human models too... geesh.

I didn't go. I heard from several other people that it was somewhat disappointing. I've read that GM is focusing the new Camaro towards the regular Joe Schmoe thus the reason for marketing the base model so much. The GTR is definitely a car you need to see in person before forming an opinion on it. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

I think that has always been true of chevrolet. The big three have always trotted out the high end of their models to generate interest though. Just seems like the auto show would be the time to do that.
Seemed like almost everyone was subdued though.. No Ferrari at all, Audi only had one S model (TT). No GT500 mustangs either. The Hemi Challenger looked nice.

I went. I'll kind of echo what everyone else said, not too impressive.
I personally have not liked the front end of the camaro, plus they trotted out the V6 model. Would have been nice to see one with the LS7 in it.
I also was impressed with the Nissan 370Z.I've test driven a 350Z. Love em. Love the placement of the gauges and the sports car feel to it. the GTR was cool, but the look didn't really do it for me.
Was also impressed with the RX8. Never sat in one until I went.
Also found myself quite pleased with the BMW 135I they had upstairs.
liked the feel of the Hundai Genesis coupe. Seems much more fun than the tiburon, plus its RWD. Would like to drive one just to see for sure. _________________

I got to see a nice ZR-1 and a Callaway Corvette this weekend at a swap meet in Puyallup. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

Yea the Camaro was very Bland, I thought they would bust out some true sex machine...truly a lack of interest!
The Challenger was HOT!
Oh and thanks for reminding me Mike, i had just learned to sleep again after checking out the new Cadi-V... OMG, what can you say!!!! A true machine of class! Even the wife gave the thumbs up, but i like the cash to much! _________________
