| The Dana 44 is almost worth picking up, it really is one of the GMPP D44's. Not quite 12bolt strong, but much stronger than the 10bolts. I woulder if he would take a lower offer. |

Yeah I would make the drive up there from Vancouver and sell my 9 bolt just so I could get parts easily. I am still over in pullman though and more of a drive then I am willing to make.

GM sold it as an upgrade through dealers in the late 80's and early 90's.
I e-mailed the guy, just asking what the deal with it was, and where he got it.

I may buy that dana 44. I have a ford 9 inch in my back yard, however, that thing is EXACTLY what I need ...a direct bolt in, minus the disk brakes! I've busted two 3:23 posi units because of my HP! I still would like that rear end becasue my ford 9 inch needs to be fabed to go into my Z. Granted, I'm selling my car but my car is kind of hard to sell for the price I want! I will probally end up keeping my Z. Love hate thang

KEEP IT!
Fab work is easy though. Just cut off the brackets from your standard housing and weld them to the 9".
Then send it off to have it narrowed. |

| Guy said he already had 3 offers for it. Looks like it is probably already sold. |
