|
|
I am happy just writing this post. Got the OK to get another one, this will be my third, third gen. Hopefully the lucky one.
This time around I'm looking for something a little more rare, hopefully a five speed but autos will be considered. 89+ Irocs, Z28, Firebird/Trans Am.
Please PM/Email me with anything you have that meets the criteria or is custom and clean.
I am a cash buyer.
Thank you crew!

I saw a real clean looking green 91-92 RS for sale down here. I can try to track down some info for you. I have no idea if it is a 3.1 or 305 or what.

I'm gonna try to stick to something that already comes with posi, so the Z28/IROC/Trans Ams take priority.
I just found a 1988 RS V8 5 Speed with 60,000 original miles on it, from the original owner. I just don't want to be stuck with TBI again, or an open diff.
Thanks for keeping an eye out for me Jon! _________________

I saw all but the Black one already. That dealership is always selling something from the 80's for too much
Since this will be bought by my fathers dealership, I won't be going through other dealers unless its a trade in and they wish to wholesale it. A lot cheaper that way.
The red one, maybe you guys can chime in on this, seems fishy. Really low miles and a broken motor mount? Not too excited for a GTA that had an owner so cheap he wouldn't fix things to sell it.
Thanks ian for looking. I am truly excited to get a thirdgen again. _________________

Chances are it's a broken trans mount and they're just hearing the clunk on throttle. _________________

That is something I had a problem with in my 1988 GTA. Oh well, I'll stay picky, I really dislike dealing with guys who think stock wheels are "worth a 1000 dollars alone" _________________

If that were a 5-speed, he'd know as soon as he stepped on the throttle as the shifter tries to climb into the passenger compartment _________________ 92 Camaro

The family company would be paying for it, however, as a dealer I am forbidden from paying so much that I can't at least sell it for what I paid. A thirdgen isn't worth much more than 3500, give or take some special cases.
My 88 GTA with 79000 miles on it cost 2k. _________________

Your car has an epic mods list, and like I said, is a special case. I just have to find something stockish or not too wild because it just makes it hard to sell in case I have to. Like our crew buddy with the supercharged iroc, absolutely stunning car, but you have to find a very specific customer.
Your car is beautiful, and I'm sure has a lot of money and time in it. What do you need to get to be happy? _________________
