Well, Im not going to be able to go unless someone has an extra carb laying around the house.

My edlebrok 600cfm "performer" may be the source of lots of problems.

Even just a q-jet I can bolt onto the top....

Ya whats wrong with the carb? Edelbrok's are usually a great carb. Unless its a really old used one.

Well, heater core problems too. In addition to the heater core, the car will not start when its cold. If I tweak and play enough, finally it will fire up. I think I have a clogged jet or something.....

It is the carb that came to me with the engine. The previus owner for some reason removed pieces of the choke, indicating he was inside the carb, and who knows what else he might have screwed around with.

I have tried the timing all over the clock.... It still wont fire up. I got it to run once, a few days back, but it doesn't want to work any more.

Steel:

http://www.telusplanet.net/public/gilesij/Volvord/section_2.htm

There are three parts to it. Edlebrock used to have a link on their website to it, I guess they removed it. I have the printed version from Edlebrock, and this thing is the same. I guess they stopped supporting the link?

Hope it helps and good luck!

Well I think I am ready to go. The dang curse has been chasing me; had to find the two retainer locks that went 'boing' while installing spring locators and my wide-band controller seems to be MIA. I was able to use my LM-1 wide-band and with Paul's help got some tuning done Monday night. Nitrous system is all hooked back together, bottle has been certified and filled, leaking connections all taken care of and testing felt, well, good... really good!

See y'all in a few days.

I'll let you know. Tim will be at my house at 3:30pm, and we don't want to drive in traffic. We were up in the air about leaving Fri night or Sat morning. We'll probably make the decision tomorrow afternoon. Weather was iffy earlier in the week.

Fish may also come along.

You guys are going to have to make the trip without me. My HSR manifold rear seal is leaking oil, again. I don't have the time to attempt to repair it before FRI/SAT. Sorry guys, I'll hook up with you all at the next event.

Tim

I doubt you will get a 'live' update but typically we post up results on Sunday or Monday following the get together. Exceptions are for those particularly disappointed owners or owners of carnage; we typically leave it to them if they want to post (it can be sensitive).

I will try to keep a list as we go.

Are you talking about the back part by the china wall, or is it leaking from somewhere else? Did you use the cork stuff? I bet a bead of "Right Stuff" and it would be good to go.
