just looking for opinions at this point, im hoping to build my 383 stroker next year & not sure which route to go with, keep my HSR or go w/ the 6-71? i know each has pro & cons and that is what im needing & build info for the block as well

either way the internals will be forged
if i go the 6-71 it will have low compression somewhere in the 7 or 8 range (but not sure yet)
if i stick w/ my HSR ill go high compression & i dont really want to turbo or procharge it, that route is pretty pricey & i already have a 6-71
plus the coolness factor is much better w/ it sticking outta the hood & i already have the street scoop, so ill just need a carb & maybe change the pulleys for whatever ratio (boost) i decide to end up running

i could recycle my Nitrous system ill just have to figure out a way to plumb it into the intake, as i was told w/ the 6-71 not to run an under carb adapter

so chime in folks, share w/ me your knowledge & opinions.
thanxs, Wolfy

HSR is awesome, we are doing a build right now, see post, New Dart block.

But, IF we didn't have the HSR, I think we would go 6-71 Blower with MPFI
That would be cool. As well as the wow factor.

Big bucks anyway you look at it, as well as big horse power.
I want the wow factor but the kid wants it all under the hood.
When I build my car, if it ever happens (have to build a shop and a house 1st, if I survive that) yep its 6-71 for sure.

NOS makes a spray bar plate that is perfect for the 6-71 system and will look awsome. nothing like boosted with a shot of gas! lol Very Happy
