Any of those two days are good for me. I should have everything tuned by then. _________________ 85 Z28, 383 Stroker, TH350 tranny, Richmond 4.10 gears, dual exhaust

Hey Quasi, why don't you add a poll to see how many people can go on which day? By the looks of it we're not going to settle on only one. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

looking forward to it. See you guys there! Maybe we could do a little bracket racing within our own group? _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

please don't make too big of a mess. you don't know how much of a pain it is to clean up someones leak down.
Yesterday we had some guy break after he launched and emptied his oil pan on the pad. It took us an hour soak it up with rags, torch all the oil off, then we had to grease sweep it, then VHT it again. Not fun. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

Is there a certain amount of rubber fuel hose you are allowed to have? I have 2 feet of it going from the hard line on the frame to the fuel pump. Then some more rubber hose mixed in with the metal line from the fuel pump to the carb. Would a dirt bike helmet be good enough or do I need to buy a special one? |

hmmm. You're not supposed to have any more than 12" of rubberized fuel line from tank to carb. So that'd be a no go. BUT, if you can't see it then we probably won't catch it. Let me tech you in if possible. And that's a "no" on the dirt bike helmet. Those are DOT approved but the helmets you need to use at the drag strip must be SNELL 2000 or newer. If you want to buy a new one go ahead or you could just rent one at the racetrack for $5. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

only 12" from tank to carb?! there is more than that just coming out of the top of the tank to the hard line!
Guess i better get some braided lines before i hit the track this summer.

My LG4 car originally had much more then that under the hood. Right from the factory. I bet the line from the hardline to pump was 14" or better, and there was a return right along side it. |
