Been putting this off. Too much going on. Anyway, bring your favorite bbqable foods and drinks.. and bring MY favorite bbq foods and drinks! Everybody should bring a chair and a sleeping bag, maybe a tent if you have one. I've got some spares but not nearly enough. The portaschultz is on order.. so I'll need some $$ to pay for that. I won't have salmon to bbq this year, though they will be bbqing some at the car show. So we'll need burgers/brats whatever for that meal as well. Anyway, I think we should all start a list here. Each person list what they'll be bringing so we dont duplicate too much. If we see any holes in the list we'll try to get someone to fill em. Worst case scenario bring $$ and we can buy what we need here. |

I've just been told that there will be free coffee and muffins at the car show till 9am.. and after that a snack shack will open with pop/muffins/candy whatever.
Deb also said we need paper plates/sporks and things.
Also remember the first rule in the Hitchhikers Guide.. bring a towel(and guys bring shorts!) at least if you want to relax in the hot tub.
I have a few 15 and 16" tires.. but no wheels. So if you have an old set of wheels it may be possible to go over to Dad's to borrow his tire machine. It's the old rim rubbing kind.. so I wouldnt want to mount em on your good wheels. |

'Cows' is short for 'Party With The Cows' - a fun little nickname that was given to an annual gathering in Southwest Washington (Skamokawa, WA) hosted by Brandon aka Chevymad and his gracious wife Debbie.
This year will be the sixth annual event. It is a multi-day gathering highlighted by a fun local car show, some partying at Brandon's ~120 acre spread (read: not worried about neighbors so much) and a nice cruise. Essentially 3-4 days of driving, bench racing and hanging out with fellow crewbies.
John did a nice little write up on the history here: http://cascadecrew.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3438
Another thread here: http://cascadecrew.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3312
Hope that helps and I hope that you can make it over and introduce yourself.

I've got a dozen burgers also and 15 brats (buns to with also). I'll probably throw in a tub of potato salad and maybe some coleslaw. _________________ 92 Camaro

I'm bringing the following:
1 Case of 12oz cans, Miller High Life
1 Case of 12oz cans, Generic Cola
1/2 case bottled water
Misceneaneous Cold cuts and a loaf of bread
2 Bags of Tortilla Chips
1 Jar of Salsa
A folding chair
Bag of Frozen Hamburger patties
A bottle of Gordon's Gin
Paper plates
Napkins
I have four 14" wheels with rubber I dont' care about. If anyone wants them for burnout tires, you'll probably have to cart them up to Skamokawa yourself, my car is pretty full as it is.
They will clear anything with rear drums or the 10.5" non 1LE/PBR disc brakes. _________________

Not sure how many plates Chris is bringing but:
-100 Plates
-Large packages of utensils
-More Napkins
-8pk TP
-~20 Burgers/Buns
-2 packs of like 15 smoked snausages/Buns
-Personal Beverages
-Some beverages for all
-2-3Cases of H20
-Creamer
-Bag Coffee (JOHN, DON'T FORGET THE POT SINCE BART'S NOT COMING TO REMIND YOU!!!)
All keep in mind the nearest store is 8-10 miles away in Cathlamet. But they do have most stuff and more expensive beer!
BTW, which liquer store has the deal on tequila? |

Went out today and did some grocery shopping, and here's what i picked up.
18pk Miller Highlife, longnecks
1gal Arizona Southern Sweet Tea (no soda)
1 Family size bag of Mission Tortilla Chips
1 Pack of 8oz Plastic cups (40 count)
1 Pack of foam plates (50 count)
1 12oz Jar of Salsa
2 cans of Cambell's Spaghetti
2 Packs of Cold cuts
1 Pack Frozen Hamburger Patties (12 count)
1 Pack Hamburger Buns (12 count)
1 Loaf of White bread
I wasn't planning on bringing anything in the way of condiments, since my cooler is small and will be pretty full.
Still have to get Ice and some bottled water, but I'll do that when I get ready to head out.
Brandon, if we go to the Duck thursday night, how much is an average mixed drink there? I only allotted $100 spending green for the whole weekend, so I'd like to make that last for me. _________________

| Sounds like we'd be going late. I dont buy mixed drinks myself, but if your used to paying vancouver/portland prices this'll be cheaper. Probably alot stronger too. Ask Bart bout their AMF, or John about the washington apple... |
