And no one else has done a post like this yet, so I will kick it off!

Ahhh yes, 1 month until what has turned into what seems to be THE Cascade Crew weekend to relax, and get together for a GREAT weekend.

Every year at PWTC (Party With The Cows), it seems it just gets larger, and better.

A little history for those who haven't been around these last 5 years (this will be Cows #6).

Year 1, 2002.
Well, this speaks for itself, the first. The original. Great weekend, and of course, who could forget the infamous field were a certain someone found out that cows, do in fact leave pie's behind.

Year 2, 2003.
This year at cows, a couple of us started what was to become a tradation at cows. You see, Brandon has a small stretch of road on his property, so we can pretty much do whatever we like there. So we descided, what use is a stretch of pavement, without black tire marks!

Year 3, 2004.
Ahhh who could forget 2004. This year of PWTC had SO much leading up to it. You see, by this time, we had been doing our dyno gathering for some time. Well, Bart (techerb) and myself (who have been friends since we were in short pants), had a bit of a riveraly going. I went and made THIS POST. I was rather confident, and then THIS happens. I had managed to neglect to connect a spark plug wire, or three. Of couse, I am a very sore loser, and I respond like anyone would, I throw down a challenge (that I plan to cheat at). You can read all about that HERE. Sadly, we never got to race, as Bart wrecked his Firebird two day's before the big night. Now, I am one who doesn't like to see someone lose like that. Mike Schultz (Schultzy89GTA) on the hand, likes to see a grown man in a TuTu, which of course takes us to the following thread (read about it here).

So, 2004 set the bar one notch higher, as Bart did in fact, wear the Tutu the entire day at the car show.

Year 4, 2005.
How could this group of rif-raf top the mess that was Cows 3? Well, with more to drink of course!

Ahhh yes, 2005, this year, the car show was canceled, it rained, but we made the best of it! We had chevelles catching fire, burnouts, lots to drink, a hike, and of course, Captin of the red team, with a BLUE umbrella. I joke not.

Year 5, 2006.
Some members of the Crew, seem to be trying to hide their stupidity, while others embrace it. 2006, saw pretty much everyone embrace it. Very Happy

What can I say about Cows06, it was a BLAST, it was crazy, it was fun, and it was relaxing. 2006 was such a great cows, it deserves a few more pictures, and little reminder of just how fun it can be.

2006, brough the return of the car show!

This year also brought the appearance of a whole new creature at PWTC.

Dirty Steve. Need I say more.

Somehow, this years party, also involved a certain mullet wig. Kids, remeber. Never drink and mullet.

Is that what I think it is???? Ohh, yes. 2006 also saw a couple of young men step up to the plate, and bring back the Tutu bet!!!! (I still haven't heard a bet for 2007, who is going to step up this year?)

We also added go-carts! You haven't seen crazy, until you see the CascadeCrew, get into 5hp briggs powered carts, with wheels falling off. As if that wasn't bad enough, we went out with a mission. We were seriously trying to get someone killed!

This year also saw the comingn of "Chainsaw" and "Drain-O", along with such great phrases as "Step into one" Very Happy Shocked

So, with that. I wanted to remind everyone of the spirit of this group, what we are about, and the great times to be had. We aren't really a car club, we are more of a big group of friends, who all drive the same car. We are the guys who haul rear axles across the state, just in case someone might need it on a cruise. We are also type that have a great time.

Now, I posted all of this to remind you, that PWTC 07 will be THE place to be during the first week of June. I promise we will not disapoint, will find a way to raise the bar another notch. I don't know how yet, but give us 3 or 4 bottles of tequila, and we will find a way!

Hope to see you all there!

John that was beautiful.

:single tear:

seriously, thanks for the history. Smile

i would also like to give a tip of the cap to Chris for having the balls to wear the Tu-Tu last year without really having lost any bet. he is indeed a stand up guy.
I'll give you the quick(er) version. i think it was me ( i think) who took the initiative (put his foot in his mouth bad enough for someone to yell "TU TU") and the bet was set: lowest HP/TQ #s from a v6 fcar wears the tu-tu. well, someone (Alhasse?) bowed out of the bet leaving just Chris and i. then his v6 thirdgen became inoperable, and i bought the GTA. i dynoed the GTA not the six and Chris dynoed his 3.8L 4th gen. then he claimed since i did not dyno a v6 i was disqualified and had to wear the Tu-Tu, i called BS and said that the bet was between thirdgens and he was disqualified too, he pointed out that no one ever said "3rd gen" but we mutually declared the bet null/void. then after failing to do a burn out (traction control), and with the influence of half a bottle of Gin Chris declared he needed to wear a tu-tu as punishment for his inadequacy at burning out. then despite not being obligated to do so, actually stood by his drunken comments the night before and suited up for the cruise.
what a sport.

if i screwed any details of this up i apologize, there was much drinking that weekend and I'll admit, i may have been a little less then sober for parts of the conversations.

That was a fun little tutorial about the history of PWTC.

Tony's sidebar about last years Tutu bet was correct, less one thing. It wasn't traction control that killed me....it was the entire inability to do a brakestand with a manual trans... Embarassed

I have Improved my game a little....maybe I'll step up to bat again this year.

I seriously had a lot of fun last year, can't wait to do it again this year!

MOOO+1

Oh ya, can I drift the burnout driveway?

Yeah, I'll toss a few in, we can do a homebrew trade! (that way we won't have to worry about bottles)

I have porters, belgians, and weizen(bananna style). I may have some pale ales hiding around to. I haven't brewed much lately, as all my spare money is goign to my trip to africa. But I'll be sure to bring some homebrew for you. You better show up, if I am bringin it!
