Or you could put 190 horse in an s10 and make it road racable for much much less!  |

I'm waiting for the Solstice! All the handling, looks, AND performance for a fraction of the cost! Very nice looking car!!
(I'd still take an 87 Espirit turbo though, anyday! Colin Chapman = god!) |

in 87 they didn't have the turbo v8 version though, i'm thinking a 96 esprit with the trubo V8  |

That's true, but I like the doorstop styling of the 87 better than the later models, and the balance and pwr:weight ratio was so good, it didn't NEED 8 cylinders to do the job!! It kept up with the Ferrari's and Porsche's nicely as it was!
(like I have a chance in hell of getting ANY of them at all!)  |

actualy i have looked at the older esprits, they really aren't that bad. they are all over ebay for under 20. |
