when I get back up north, we's havin some words, you and I ...

Very Happy

I don't want to sound like a dick, but early LT1 cars had marginally more power than a TPI car...

not saying a 3rdgen can't and won't give a 4thgen a run for its money, when Schultzy was stock L98 with nitrous I experienced that firsthand and he got sprayed on and held his own very well.... and that was with two passengers with him at the time down I-5 ...

I love me some modified 3rdgens though, and then again I love some stock ones... when I get back north I'll be aqquiring a certain canadian 82 Z28 ... Lovey lovey  will need some work, but thats ok

I know 4th gens are faster stock for stock. 4th gens are the offspring of 3rd gens, just as 3rd gens are the offspring of 2nd gens. It was supposed to be a play on words multi-level comment type thing. To be taken both literally and in the "who is your daddy" figurative sense.

I guess I barted it.

what, that we're weird?

or that we scare off newbies?

I've seen a lot of newer people on here lately ...

and less and less of the older crowd...

we're dwindling ...

but it seems like we lose one OG, three or four new people pop up and take their place... even, as a group... maybe replace them.

It happens, there are still a lot of old timers here though, some of them just don't post quite as much as they used to.

yeah I know...

But Kathy is gone, Summer is gone, Lance, Doug, Jess is rarely around, Joe is here and there, hardly any of the canadians are posting and they stuck it out for awhile... Gibby is a rare site, OG Paully is somewhere down here or close to it... John with the IROC is floating around but again, rarely... Mark (Wiggy, red iroc in Idaho with the little blonde kids) doesn't seem to be around... another WolfZ28 (not WolffyFthwoop) with an 82 Crossfire Z28 was around for a long time when John and I started and he just disappeared ... Laserbeak is a very rare site as well, Don is an occurrence but not too often, last post he made was in the hotwheels thread...

then of course there are a few people who many are thankful to have gone...

I miss Kathy though, her firebird was HOT HOT HOT ...
Black L69 Firebird Lovey lovey

little trip down memory lane ... sorry...
many things have changed, everyone has grown up, grown out, grown bald... well, most everyone...

its kind of weird to sit back and think about it all, especially not being a part of anything but the board itself the last 3 years (though I'm sure not everyone really cared for that), just merely a bystander while everyone else I called friends and family continued on in a place I left so suddenly...

however, it's nice to know that I will be returning to the north again...
I can't take much more of this Texas crap.

Yeah, funny how that happens, all this went from a car website, to a car club i was part of, now I a lot of people here are really good friends of mine. That is part of the fun though, keeping it going with long time friends, and meeting new people as they come in.

LMAO, I still remeber being really freaked out the first time I met you, I think the first thing you asked me, was if I wanted to watch you feed your pet snake. LOL
