Hey guys, haven't been around much of late but wanted to let you know I'm now working at Jet Chevy in Federal Way in the parts dept. I'm glad to help you out as I can on stuff. Most of you are more mechanically inclined than I, but if you've got a parts question, I'll do what I can.

The good: we have web ordering that give you huge discounts (basically dealer cost). Its similar to gmdirect that lots of guys use. As always there are caveats: we charge a percentage of the price for shipping--but unless it is oversized, it is almost always still lots cheaper than over the counter. Second all shipments have to go to your address--no shipping to the dealer and picking it up. If you have questions, call and ask for me by name (Justin). Tell me you are a Crewbie and I'll make some extra effort to help you out.

Last, if you are interested, I have a ton of 2006 GM performance catalogs left over, and we are giving them away right now (that's right--its FREE). 2007's will be out soon, but most of the stuff for 06 is still available, and will continue to be.

I won't post the website until I get an okay from you Admin types. If you want it before then, you can pm or e-mail me at:

vaneat@aol.com

You guys have been busy. Looks like you had fun at the dyno weekend, I may try to roll down for that next year, at least for the day.

Oh, there is also a car show in Eatonville (south of Puyallup) on June 23 that I'm pretty sure is open to all if you guys are interested in coming to it. they host it on the main street of town. there's a couple drinking establishments on the strip as well if you are so inclined. Cheers

Yep, pretty much--obviously there's tons more than that, but yeah. I view it as kinda like a wishbook for gear heads. Very Happy Lots of stuff to drool over, even if we can't afford it all. Good for ideas too.

Those are good guys over there. I hope the Titus ownership stays around a while. I keep wanting to call them "Walker Chev" even though its been years since they were owned by them. There's been at least 2 others in there since then.

Not trying to pry you away from them, just letting you know I'm available to help out if you're in the area.

Hey, I got kind of a strange question for you since you work at Jet. What happened to the MiG-21 that used to be there in the parking lot?! I noticed that it was missing a few months ago. Confused

The website is not up yet it seems.

Can you quote me a set of NOS shocks and struts for an 85 WS6 Trans Am?

Yeah, I wondered that too. They have been doing some work, and I think they are trying to create additional space which probably meant it had to go, but I'll ask around.

website is:

www.1stchevyparts.com

Front struts are discontinued from GM.
Rear shocks depend on whether you had the FE2 suspension option.
standard: part:22065222
with FE2: 10443949

There is an option to type in the numbers directly on the site, that will give you prices with shipping and handling. E-mail me if you want an over the counter price.

Justin

Moderators: I'll remove link if you don't want it up here.
